Waiting for Sakura blossoms(桜が待ち遠しい (意味が分からない言葉には,マウスを合わせてみてください。訳が表示されます。)

As we head into the month of March, the weather is beginning to change in Hitoyoshi. It feels like spring is just around the corner, and I’m looking forward to enjoying warmer temperatures after several months of winter. Although I like spring, summer has always been my favorite time of year and it is generally the season that I look forward to most. However, this year is a bit different because this marks the first time that I will be spending spring in another country. But what has me most excited about the change of seasons this year is the promise of many beauiful Sakura blossoms. As this is my first experience living in Japan, I have yet to see the blossoming of cherry trees that sweeps across the country every spring. Where I come from there are no cherry trees, so this spring will be very different for me. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person and I plan on taking many pictures to show my family back home. If you know of any good places to view Sakura, please let me know.

------To the Graduates(3rd graders)-----
Before I forget, I wanted to congratulate all of you on the completion of another academic year. It's been great getting to know all of you and I look forward to seeing many of you again soon. Good luck to all you 3rd years out there. I hope you enjoy High school and hopefully we'll be seeing each other around Hitoyoshi soon.
